Here's what most people aren't told about GLP-1s
Appetite suppression alone does not protect your muscle or metabolism.
Without structure, protein intake drops and muscle loss begins quietly.
Fatigue and nutrient gaps can go unnoticed until they add up.
The first weeks matter most. This is when side effects show up, habits are formed, and small mistakes can quietly turn into bigger problems. This is not something you want to guess your way through.
That’s exactly why this program is live. You’re not watching videos and hoping they apply to you. You’re asking questions, getting answers, and making adjustments in real time.
So you don’t just lose weight. You do it safely and sustainably.
This is not a self-paced course. It's a live real-time program
- Physician-led and interactive
Join weekly live sessions with Dr. Westman, ask questions in real time, and get personalized guidance tailored to your situation. Apply what you learn immediately, not weeks later.
- Muscle and metabolism first
Each week, focus on protecting strength, maintaining protein intake, and supporting metabolism while appetite changes. Learn exactly what your body needs to stay healthy during weight loss.
- Structure that lasts
Beyond the live sessions, stay accountable with support group check-ins, weekly challenges, and actionable checklists that turn knowledge into habits you can keep long after the program ends.
Inside the 4-week live program
- Week 1: Starting Safely and Strategically
What’s normal and what’s not. How to reduce side-effects without guessing. Setting realistic expectations and maintaining a healthy perspective from the beginning.
- Week 2: Protecting Muscle and Metabolism During Weight Loss
Why protein and hydration are crucial when appetite decreases. How to prevent quiet under-eating and preserve muscle mass while losing fat. How to handle stalls without second-guessing.
- Week 3: Navigating Real Life on Weight Loss Medications
Planning for everyday life as your relationship with food changes. Returning appetite. Plateaus. Emotional eating. Handling travel, stress, and social situations.
- Week 4: Planning for the Long Term
Maintenance vs. continued fat loss. Staying on meds vs. transitioning off. Building a plan that reduces uncertainty and increases confidence. A clear decision framework for the changes most people aren’t prepared for.
*Each week builds on the last — so by the end, you’re not just lighter. You’re clearer.
Meet Dr. Westman
I’m Eric Westman, MD, MHS.
For over 30 years, I’ve helped patients improve metabolic health using evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
With GLP-1 medications, I’ve seen how quickly appetite changes, and how easy it is for muscle, metabolism, and nutrition to go off track without proper guidance.
In this program, you’ll work with me live each week, get your questions answered, and receive clear direction on what to do next, so you’re not left guessing.
How do I know if I’m ready?
This program is for you if:
- You’ve recently started a GLP-1 medication or are about to and want weekly live guidance from Dr. Westman.
- You want to protect muscle, metabolism, and overall health while appetite changes.
- You want to understand your body’s responses, not just watch the scale.
- You’re looking for structured, evidence-based support instead of conflicting online advice.
- You’re ready to actively engage in live sessions, Q&A, and support group exercises.
This program is not for you if:
- You’re looking for a quick fix or extreme weight loss without considering long-term health.
- You’re not willing to participate in live sessions and support activities.
- You want passive, pre-recorded content instead of real-time guidance.
- You’re not open to structured nutrition and habit strategies during the early phase.
- You prefer to figure everything out on your own without physician-led support.

When I started a GLP-1, I assumed it would be smooth sailing. I didn’t realize how quickly my appetite would change or how to handle it. Dr. Westman’s guidance helped me focus on what to eat and when, so I could stay proactive and feel confident.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Is this medical care?
No. This is a physician-led educational support program. It does not replace your prescribing clinician or constitute a patient-provider relationship.
Will you adjust my medication or dosing?
No. All medication decisions remain with your prescribing provider. This program focuses on nutrition, protecting muscle, navigating side effects, and building a long-term strategy.
Is this only for people who are struggling?
No. It’s designed for anyone in the early phase who wants to approach this thoughtfully, whether things feel manageable or not.
I just started a GLP-1. Is it too soon to join?
No. The early phase is exactly when structure matters most. Starting with clarity is far easier than course-correcting later.
I've already been on a GLP-1 for a few months. Is it too late?
Not at all. If you’re still within the first several months, the guidance is relevant. Many of the most important foundations can still be established.
What if I miss a live session?
All sessions are recorded and available for you inside the program so you can watch at your convenience.
Is this a self-paced course?
No. The curriculum is taught live and in real time across 4 weeks. Recordings are available for replay, but this is not a passive, on-demand course.
What happens after the 4 weeks?
The program has a clear end point. Options for continued support will be shared with participants at the close of the program.
The early phase shapes what happens next
Starting a GLP-1 is a decision. Using it well requires structure.
4 weeks of focused, live guidance with Dr. Westman and team — so you know what to eat, what to avoid, and how to protect muscle during the most critical early phase.
