Yes. While the main focus of the course is helping people break fat loss stalls, the course goes far beyond the most common diet-based reasons for stubborn fat loss. Lessons also include the roles of sleep, stress, and exercise on insulin sensitivity and overall metabolism, as well as commonly used medications that can interfere with weight loss. The popular topic of intermittent fasting is also covered and there’s an entire lesson dedicated to thyroid issues. Beyond that, the course includes education on setting realistic goals and establishing a healthy body image. Even if you aren’t having difficulty losing weight on keto, yourself, the Stall Slayer course is educational in all these additional areas, plus, it will give you information you might be able to use to help someone else.
Yes. Suboptimal thyroid hormones are a major cause of slow or stalled weight loss. This course includes a lesson that dives deep into thyroid function, proper testing & assessment, and thyroid medication. After this course, you will understand why you might be living with signs and symptoms of low thyroid even if you’ve been told for years that your thyroid is normal. You will also understand why your hormone levels might not be optimized even if you’re already taking thyroid medication. While we cannot provide individualized medical advice, you will learn exactly why and how thyroid problems may be interfering with your weight loss and causing other problems, and this foundation will help you feel more confident in having an informed discussion with your doctor.
Unlike other keto courses, TSS goes far beyond talking only about food. You will indeed learn a solid foundation for what to eat and what to avoid, but you will not need to rearrange your life and have every meal revolve around macros, ounces, calories, or carbs. Beyond the dietary details, you will also learn about lifestyle factors that could be affecting your fat loss even when you’re doing “everything right” with your food. You’ll learn how sleep and stress impact metabolism, whether medications you’re taking may be standing in the way of fat loss, and why suboptimal thyroid hormones might be playing a major role in your slow or stalled fat loss—even if you’ve had thyroid testing and you’ve been told your levels are normal. There are also lessons on setting realistic goals and having a psychologically healthy mindset around your weight and body image. Additionally, you will receive the complete pdf e-book, The Stall Slayer – 198 pages!
The course is self-paced and video-based. It consists of 12 video lessons across 4 modules, and complete transcripts are provided for each lesson. You can go through the lessons as quickly or as slowly as you like, and you can watch them as many times as you wish.
The course is yours to keep! You will be able to log in to your student portal anytime to watch the video lessons at any time. Additionally, the pdf resources, video transcripts, and all other written content in your student portal are yours to keep permanently. You can download and save them, and even print them out if you prefer to have hard copies. The video lessons are not downloadable, but the written transcripts are, and again, you can re-watch the video lessons at any time.
The course is just $167 USD – an incredible value for the resources and education you’ll receive.
There is free information readily available on the internet—a lot of it. However, much of what you’ll find is conflicting, confusing, and might even result in you moving further away from your goals, rather than closer to them. Amy Berger created the Stall Slayer course based on over a decade of working with clients and seeing their most common obstacles to fat loss on ketogenic and low-carb diets. Her motto is “Keto Without the Crazy™,” and she is dedicated to helping people see how simple and uncomplicated keto really is when you understand the basic principles that make it work. You don’t need any fancy gadgets, apps, or devices to be successful when you learn how to work with your natural biology and physiology, instead of “biohacking” details that don’t get you anywhere. She is highly respected in the keto community for being a voice of reason and for delivering information and education without sensationalism or fearmongering.
